Shallene Nice gives presentation on Alzheimer's @ Meadow Valley Manor - focus on family coping with their loved one transitioning into care home, caregivers general management, Degenerative disease, Alzhimers, dementia associated with Lewy bodies, Pick's disease, Parkinsons disease. Presentation was well done informative in the ongoing caregivers role. The importance of on going education with caring for Alzheime's Disease, and what can make a difference for the client to continue being independent with respect and dignity.

Patty has been chosen for Decembers employee of the month. She has been the company since 2007 and has yet to miss a day, along with always showing up for her shift at least 20 minutes early. This has not gone unnoticed, and as a valued employee we wish to express out gratitude to Patty. She is well respected by her colleges, families and clients with her compassion, understanding and positive attributes. Thank You !!!

Shallene, well, what can we say about Shallene except we are very grateful for all she does. Shallene is always improving herself whether it be development in cooking classes for further education attempting drivers education, which only took six years of coaxing, we are very proud of her. Shallene does not suffer fools gladly and will verify ones qualifications before employing. Shallene has become a leader in the home and her eye to detail and maintaining a good working environment for her colleagues. Shallene is someone who devotes her attention to others needs before her own. Shallene is very respectful of other people and has a flare of understanding and compassion. Shallene”s flare for art, music, and playing musical instruments along with singing and her joy of nature are just some of her attributes she brings to Meadow Valley. Thank you Shallene for your six years of service and your commitment and dedication to our seniors and we look forward to another six years of memories. I would like to mention it has not gone unnoticed Shallene perfect attendance. Good luck on your drivers test!!!

Tess, has the philosophy life of its own and it is in her wonderful personality which colours the personal things that she does. Tess has a strong desire to use her creativity in pursuit of her goals, whether taking on new challenges, volunteering, or helping her colleagues. Tess is an “upfront:”kind of person, self assured and knows what she wants. Tess is incredibly focused and strong once set on her path, and will not waiver. She is fearless and is not afraid to try or learn. Tess possess physical and this shows by her commitment with lifting weights, and mental energy into her seemingly endless creativity. Tess is always seeking new opportunities, experiences and is a real pioneer. Tess, finds new ways of doing things, problem solver, Tess looks at a problem from a different perspective and we can be assured that a solution will be found. Tess, is a giver, and just simply loves to help others and willfully will go the extra mile. Tess enjoys learning and is an intellectual at heart. Tess, will break out in song whether it is on the guitar, drums and or just singing for her clients. Her calm exterior is felt when you walk in a room, nothing will move Tess from her inner peace. It is an honor to have Tess at Meadow Valley Manor not only for her clients but for her colleagues or always encouraging and making a difference in others life's. For this we give thanks and are forever grateful. Thank you
